GEOS 4583 - "Vector GIS "

Introduction to geographic information systems (GIS) applications in marketing, transportation, real estate, demographics, urban and regional planning, and related areas. Lectures focus on development of principles, paralleled by workstation-based laboratory exercises using mainstream GIS software and relational databases. Same as: ANTH 4563. Prerequisite: GEOS 3023 or GEOS 3543.
