I am a doctoral candidate in the Environmental Dynamics Program, where I study the use of non-invasive archaeological methods including surface mapping and survey, near-surface geophysical techniques, and aerial and satellite remote sensing to understand the relationships between the settlement patterns of ancient humans and their environment. I have contributed to multi-year projects in the United States, Belize and Bolivia, and am currently involved in fieldwork in Turkey, Syria, and the United Arab Emirates.

For my dissertation, I'm conducting coordinated archaeological and paleoenvironmental investigations three archaeological sites in southern Dubai at to reconstruct the ways in which the changing environment from affected settlement patterns in the Rub' al-Khali Desert.
